Coming from outside the area use the Panther County Map showing the south of Chelmsford. Find the junction of the A12 and the B1007 (Junction 16). Leave the A12 at this junction and head towards Billericay & Stock then take the first turning on the left which is Bakers Lane. The entrance to Panther Bowhunters is about 800 yards on the right past Temple Grove Park. A more detailed map Panther Hometown shows the B1007. Bakers Lane is the road with Gay Bowers Farm indicated at the end. Off-road parking is available for about 30 vehicles in the Glade. approximate route of the 2 permanent chartered courses
'A' and 'B' are also shown. Bakers Lane runs diagonally
left to right across the upper part of the image. The
Glade is on the left along with the practice butts. In addition to providing parking, the Glade is also the home of the Clubhouse on one side and the practice butts on the other. There are practice butts for distances up to 45 yards. Male and female flush toilets are provided in the Glade adjacent to the Members Lodge. Access to 'A' and 'B' courses is via the side of the practice butts except when the RED FLAG is flying. |
