FACILITY STATUS

Pavillion/Clubhouse/Tea-hole
Getting posher all the time. Club members are taking pride in the new clubhouse and keeping it clean and tidy. Won't be long before it'll be carpet slippers only. Having problems with the door dropping and a few other niggles. If you like a puff please refrain from doing so in the clubhouse.

The toilets are emptied regularly but would ask that chaps only use the left hand tardis and leave the other for the ladies please. Also if gents only need a jimmy please use the urinal in the wooden shed next to the ladies loo.

'B' Course
This has been re-pegged after using it as an umarked course and they probably have faces on by now and be good for a few weeks until the longbows shoot the middles out (ha ha).

'B' needs more clearing activities especially on target 24 (the longgggg one). I've had a good look at T23 and T25 to see if we can get more light on the target for those of you afflicted with sights. I'll have another look but some serious trees will have to go to make any noticeable improvement. Serves you right for using sights

Target 16 Hunter pegs. The peg in the path is loose on purpose. It's so we can get the tractor/trailer through. Please don't bang it in any harder. Judicious pruning has improved the sightline through the trees on the furthest right Hunter peg (on the fan).

'A' Course
Fully commissioned with pegs and faces. Target 4 will be moved but not far.

3D Course
The course is laid but the targets won't go out until the day of the shoot. The animals come in after the shoot so if you're the lowlife that likes to steal our targets please do so during the shoot. I'm sure you'll come across some archers that would like to meet you. The 3D course is marked with red and green flags. Please don't move them unless it's to mark your grave.

On a general note that really applies to both 'A' and 'B' courses, nettles and brambles are the biggest problem at the moment. Cut 'em down and five minutes later they're back.

Yes, we know there's trees down and we're onto it. Got to get an act of parliament to chop 'em up.

The Glade
Open for business.

All shooting positions are in a line. When shooting please wait for others to finish their end and then all collect arrows together. It's for everyone's safety. There's practice targets from the Bunny (nearest the gate) then at 45, 40, 35, 30, 25, 20 and 15Y. If you need to practice at a different distance please go onto the courses (unless before 12.30 on Saturdays in which case tough-luck).
